# “Add File to Note” Action in Apple Shortcuts Not Working

Add file like photo to note

- **What feature did you use** :

Apple shortcut action: Add File to Note

- **What happened** :

Error message: There’s a problem communicating with the app.

- **What did you expect to happen** :

Should work and import files or photos properly

Thanks for reporting this. Apparently, the iOS 27 update broke the multiple-file input for Shortcut actions. We’ll report this issue to Apple and check if it will be fixed with the next updates.

I just found that the bug has been fixed with iOS 27.2 beta 2.
