# Bear crashes when MacOs and Bear compete for autocomplete

- **Bear Version** : 2.2.1
- **OS Version** : MacOs 14.5
- **What were you doing** : adding an emoji
- **What feature did you use** : text editing
- **What happened** : while adding an emoji, both bear and macos offer autocomplete. sometimes, the macos autocomplete is above the bear autocomplete. if you select the macos autocomplete, then bear crashes.
- **What did you expect to happen** : bear should not creash

Thanks for the report. I’ve never seen this behavior, if you have the chance could you record a video of this happening?
