# Bear does not capture the creation or modification dates in Apple notes exported from AN as Markdown

I am moving business records from apple notes to Bear. Bear only shows the creation date of the import. I used Apple Notes “export..to markdown” function. I need creation dates for business purposes

I’m afraid the creation and modification dates are not carried by Apple Notes exporter.  
You can try with the pre macOS 26 method shown here:
