# Bug: open the linked markdown in the editor is not working

- **Lettera Version** : Version 1.0.0 (3980)

- **macOS Version** : MacOS 26.5

- **What were you doing** : I was trying to open the linked local markdown file under the same project.

- **What feature did you use** : Markdown Link

- **What happened** : I was tyring to open the linked local markdown file under the same project but instead of openning the markdown it opnes my safari borwser. Attaached the video recording.

- **What did you expect to happen** : What i expect is it should open the linked markdown. Attached video recording form other markdown editor (MarkEdit)
