# "Copy link to note" points to wrong note

I select a note with title “A” and copy the link to it.  
I paste the link into another note.  
I click the link I just pasted and it takes me to another note with the title “A”.

It is true I have two different notes (containing different content), but with the same name (here “A”).

However, I would **not** expect “copy link to note” to give me the wrong link to the note.

I would expect that whenever I copy the link to a note that that link points to the note I copied it from.  
The same being true if I do a “[[” and select the note.

(With 2500 notes it would be quite a limitation if I can’t have 1 or more notes with same name without a the linking feature not being usable anymore.)
