Apple Shortcut error when running an export on a note that has a MOV file. The export in the app works but errors in the Shortcut.

My guess here is that the shortcut extensions crashes because of the memory occupied by the mov file. If you copy the note content but not the mov in another note and try to export it, do you get the same error?

That works fine. So, using Shortcuts for the export uses more memory than exporting directly from Bear?

Temporarily I have an IF condition to ignore notes with MOV hoping there was a solution. I also found that notes with PNG give the same error.

No, the problem is that all the macOS and iOS app extensions have a 30Mb memory limit.

I am familiar with the memory limits but have a similar problem with a file that doesn’t seem too big.

I have a backup shortcut that looks for changed notes to backup and the shortcut fails when I try to export this note as markdown.

The note is essentially one long table of links, with a single link and an optional comment per row:

Looking at the data in BBEdit, I see 492 unescaped `|` characters indicating that the table has 246 rows.

@pfarrelle can you tell me the format you are exporting the note to?

Markdown.

Here’s a screenshot of the working code that skips the file with the large? table.
