# File not updated unless we close and reopen the file

- **Lettera Version** : Version 1.0.0 (3980)
- **macOS Version** : 26.4 (25E246)
- **What were you doing** : I opened the same file in two different tabs/windows.
- **What feature did you use** : I edited the file in one of the open windows.
- **What happened** : The edits never appeared on the other open window.
- **What did you expect to happen** : The edits to appear on the other open window after a while, say within a minute. Or to be able to refresh a window/tab.
