Hi All,

Looking for help. I have this [shortcut](https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/adb2e41dbe0441509e7d4a04059c75b8), it asks for input and adds it to a **year log note**.

But before that, it checks whether the **year log note** has a header for the current date. If there is no such header it adds it first.

The problem: when run, the shortcut opens the Bear window, while I wish to keep it hidden at all times. It looks like “Get contents of Bear note” is the cause.

If you have any idea for how to keep Bear window hidden, please share.

Thanks!

This should do what you are looking for without using `Get Contents of bear note`

Hi! Thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately, it’s for when each date is a separate note, and what I’m trying to have is a single long note for ‘2025’ where the dates are sub-headings. Like here:

This requires a little more work, but can be achieved starting with the shortcuts I provided.

Sorry if I wasn’t clear. I do have it working already with the shortcut that I’ve posted, the only little annoying thing is that the Bear window pop-ups once the shortcut is run. That’s what I’m trying to solve.

After having another look, I now get what you meant, and it is [solved](https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/e64b3e3bed594a28803ed3049c18c126). Thank you @trix180!
