## Bug report

**What were you doing** : Inserting an image into a note via Bear Web

**What feature did you use** : Image insertion

**What happened** : The image appeared correctly in Bear Web initially, but after refreshing the page, only a placeholder appeared instead of the actual image. Double-clicking the placeholder produced no response, and when right-clicking, the browser treated it as text rather than an image. The image also displayed as a placeholder when viewed in the iOS app.

**What did you expect to happen** : The image should display correctly

**Feedback:** I think the above issue may be associated with [this issue](https://community.bear.app/t/some-images-not-displaying-in-notes/15326), which I am also encountering when opening notes containing images uploaded from the iOS app. The difference is that although images uploaded from iOS render as placeholders in Bear Web, they remain displaying correctly in the iOS app.

Indeed associated. This should now be fixed (but please let us know if you’re still experiencing issues).

The images uploaded via Bear Web still appear as placeholders. I’ve tested this in both Firefox and Chrome, including performing hard refreshes and browser restarts.

Despite appearing as placeholders in Bear Web, the images now display correctly in the iOS app.

Thanks for the video @Kevin ! I haven’t been able to replicate this yet, I’ll keep digging.

I’m still experiencing this issue on both Firefox and Chrome on Windows 10.

Yes, I retested and the issue persists, as demonstrated in my previous reply.
