- What were you doing: renaming files via Finder
- What feature did you use: none - Lettera was open but not the active window
- What happened: crashed without using it
- What did you expect to happen: it would not crash
I had Lettera open as a project, pointing to the default iCloud folder, with one MD file open. I was using Finder to rename several folders and delete some files. During this time, Lettera would crash and restart repeatedly. It happened approximately three times over the course of a couple of hours. When Lettera crashed, I received the crash warning page, which I believe is from Apple, and then it would restart. I continued making my changes in Finder, but the issue persisted. I’m not sure what exactly is causing the crashes, so I’m not sure how easy it might be to recreate the situation. Over 50 folders were renamed, merged, and/or deleted.
Just passing this on, not expecting a response and will watch if it happens in the next release.
