Mobile UX difficulties [back/forward/quick open] can’t be done one handed

Please consider improve the way to go back to the previous note on mobile. Currently you are forced to rely on a strange back two finger back swipe which only works 50% of the time - the rest of the time you end up back at the main note list instead. If you are using a phone one handed it’s impossible to go back… unless maybe you use your nose and finger together :man_shrugging: Please consider adding on screen back / forward buttons :folded_hands:

Similarly, accessing the quick open menu. It requires a three finger down swipe which cant be done one handed. It is such a core feature, yet it feels buried behind a hidden gesture that is impossible to trigger one handed

You can enable the navigation history buttons in the … menu inside the note.

Hi, I did forget about these but they seem very strangely placed. They basically create an invisible block of space on the page and float seemingly in space above the heading. They are also styled completely different to the rest of the UI (almost like they were an afterthought).

I also noticed another thread where a user was complaining that they also disappear on restart of the app. Wondering, Is there no chance of installing them somewhere on the UI as a permanent fixture. They are extremely useful and would take up virtually no space if just the arrows :crossed_fingers: Could even appear automatically if you have the capability to go back.

Example from UpNote which does this (the back/forward pill) only appears if you go from note to another note via a link

Also obsidian has a really nice footer with them embedded which is very easy to use one handed

Also, if quick open could be added as another button this would be even better
