I am using MacOS version 2.7 but I think this issue has been there forever.
I am trying to make my own keyboard shortcut, using MacOS’s keyboard shortcut functionality on settings but I am having a problem that I think it is related to the translation to spanish of bear. I have no way to test this, but this is probably working fine on english and other languages.
So basically, for me to change the keyboard shortcut I need to write that exact text on MacOS’s settings (“Texto normal”), but the thing is that there are 2 buttons in Bear’s menu that have the exact same text, so it won’t work. In fact, there first one I think it is for “Paste as normal text”, but the second one I am not sure what it does.
So basically, it would be great if those 2 could be distinguished and translated to something more specific.
Bear team, thanks so much for fixing this! Unfortunately, I am still unable to change the “Paste as - Normal text” keyboard shortcut, because it is still not specific enough. Both “Copy as” and “Paste as” have an option called “Normal Text”, both with the same name, so I can’t change the shortcuts from these actions, they need to have their own name.
So it would be helpful to change them to “Copy as normal text” and “Past as normal text”.
Just for clarification, I use Bear in spanish, so not sure if they are exactly named like this in the english version. But I will show you with some screenshots how they are in the spanish version.
I understand what you are asking, but I don’t think the correct way to handle the menu is replicating the “action” inside the submenus. I can suggest using a clipboard manager such as Paste for handling this kind of text-related issues.
