# Remember Me Checkbox Does Not Work to Persist Session on Same Device

**Web Browser** : Chrome 138.0.7204.101 Official

## Bug report

**What were you doing** : Trying to access Bear Web in Chrome

**What feature did you use** : Log In

**What happened** : Every time I open Bear in a new tab, I am asked to log in which is cumbersome considering the two-factor Apple Auth.

**What did you expect to happen** : I expect that when I check the “Remember Me” checkbox I would be given at least a 24 hour session where as long as my cookies or localStorage were not cleared, I would be able to access my Bear instance again without logging in.

**Feedback:** The overall editing experience feels great, but this login issue is very inconvenient. Overall, this is a very impressive Beta release and I will continue to use it, however, it would be AWESOME to get this login & session issue resolved.

Have you flagged the “Trust this device” option in the top-left corner of the webapp?
