# Search field is too short to show the whole search term

At some point in the development of bear the text in the search field of the notes list wrapped the text rather than having a long line. As you can see in the screenshot it even looks glitchy:

However, in both cases it is annoying that you can’t see the complete search text.

Is there anything against the search field growing vertically with each additional line?
