# The app crashed after last update to version 2.3 on MacOS Big Sur

- **Bear Version** : 2.3 (12783)
- **OS Version** : macOS Big Sur 11.7.10 (20G1427)
- **What were you doing** : I’ve updated the app in App Store and tried open the app
- **What feature did you use** : just open the app
- **What happened** : the app crashed
- **What did you expect to happen** : the app will open

I’ve reinstall the app, but nothing changed.

Hello,

This problem seems to be generated by the tool for building and uploading apps (XCode 16) as it’s linking a system library not available on macOS 11. So far it’s not clear if an update will be provided soon.

Meanwhile, We are trying to work around this issue and provide a temporary build for macOS 11.
