# What happened to today’s event?

There was an event on the AppStore for today about the launch of the new version. I don’t see a new version, and the event is also seemingly gone. I was so excited.. what happened?

Wondering the same. They were going to implement workspaces feature which I was waiting for since years.

I guess Shiny Frog’s policy of not making announcements or publishing roadmaps has proven true. Something always comes up. Anyway, at least we can assume the new version is coming soon. Whether it’s next Monday, in a week or at the end of the month.

Sorry about that. We had some technical issues with the relase and we had to move the event.  
We hope to have news about version 2.9 as soon as possible.

No worries at all, as a developer myself I totally understand that these kinds of issues tend to pop up right when a release date is announced 😄

You did get me a little hyped though, since I’m really looking forward to this feature
