On mac, in the settings popup, there is an option to “record shortcut” for “create a new note”.

How is this different than using command+N to create a new note (which I believe is default)?

It’s a _global_ shortcut, accessible from any application. Using it brings Bear to the front and creates a new note.

I understand. I will not have to set it just to test it now.😅

Thank you
