Avid user of note-taking/help-me-thinking software for >20 years. Started with MindManager in 2000.
Got fed up with Evernote (with some 14K notes over 10 years) Was looking at stg new.
Gone through WorkFlowy - then linked notes came to the horizon. They also messed up somewhat the “mirror” feature and the “link-to” funciont The back-link feature I found extremely tedious.
Then I came across Obsidian. With using about a dozen community add-ons, this become a respectable thinking machine for me.

You know what put me off? The inability to bulk-edit tags. One needed add/remove a tag note by note.

Then came Bear. I fell in love.
Import (from Evernote in particular), export, nested tags, bulk editing them… you name it.

I was only today that I realized that I can be a part of Panda/Bear Beta and I some of my wished-for features come into being.

First and foremost: 1) toggle section with a keyboard shortcut 2) backlinks - get these and I am in heaven.
