It’s still not clear if you dislike the name or the feature
Don’t get me wrong, the feature is nice. But the name is confusing if not wrong.
I’m not a user of obsidian but this feels just as wrong.
Not sure what the issue is. Those look more like a violators to me than an intentionally integrated callout. (NOW WITH 20% MORE!) If they were called “in-line callouts” would that satisfy this?
I think they should be called Roar-minders.

Is there a keyboard shortcut for Callouts? I can’t see one at the moment.
Nope, but you can define your own shortcut in ‘System Settings > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts’
