Most people use code blocks to store reusable code for pasting into their work.
A lot of “other” utilities out there in the marketplace have quick copy buttons to take the block and store it in your computer’s clipboard for fast pasting.
It speeds up workflow and reduces the chances of lassoing the wrong amount of data.
yes, we do have a “copy block” menu item if you right click on blocks in Bear. I think we can consider adding the same to Panda.
WOW I do not know how I ever missed that!!! Thank you so much!!!
Bumping this. Having a separate copy button rendered in the UI on top of a code block (similar to some of your competitors) would be very much appreciated. The right-click menu => “copy code” approach also works, but it’s an extra click + having to locate the menu item.
As a developer taking notes for work, I would use this a lot.
The Bear 2 copy code via context menu is a clunky user experience compared to the rest of Bear’s slickness.
I’ve already requested such a feature here - Code Header / Copy Block - but, to my surprise, it didn’t gain any traction.
