Need for pagination for long notes

I’ve just imported several doc files I have about a particular topic into one note and reorganized and merged them into one Note with headings and sub headings.Yet now it is so long that I would find pagination very helpful for such long Notes. Is pagination on the near or far horizon, or not onasuch a feature list at all?

Otherwise, I continue to love Bear. I started with EverNote, then tried DevonThink (much too complex for my needs), then UpNote, then tried Apple Notes briefly until I finally found Bear a couple of years ago. Must admit I keep looking at Apple Notes because I am using a total Apple ecosystem, but still come back to Bear.

Pagination would certainly be helpful. If you happen to be using Markdown headers for sections, you can also use the folding feature to break things up.

The Bear Notes app does not have direct pagination, but you can use features like folding sections, tables of contents, and pinning notes to manage long documents and navigate between sections. For long notes, use Markdown to create headings, and the app will generate a table of contents to help you jump between parts of the note. You can also fold sections to hide and reveal them, which helps with focus and reorganization

Thanks much. Yours is the most comprehensive answer I’ve received thus far.
