+1 for Typewriter mode 
Bear beats Ulysses and iA writer in every other aspect, but this one keeps me from making it my main driver for things like medium-form writing.
I second the earlier commenter in this thread who pointed out that some of the features added since this thread began are quite niche to be ruling typewriter mode out for that reason at this point.
