Hello team. Does Bear have its own menu bar helper like Evernote? I’m using Bearclaw to send small notes or capture screenshots to Bear, but it always creates a new note. I can’t add any paragraphs to existing notes! I think it would be great if the Bear developers looked at Evernote’s menu bar helper and created something similar, or if they could fork Bearclaw and improve it.
Bear currently does not have such a feature. I have a quick capture Shortcut which allows me to send text from anywhere. I heavily recommend looking into Shortcuts as Bear has a great integration which allows users to build those kind of features in the way they like.

I use that shortcut too but you can’t mix it with attachment. Do you know if I can send text and pictures together? It’s like web clipping, but I want to send both the text and pictures to an existing note.
I haven’t tried, I would try having rich text as an input for the shortcut.

There’s a neat little product called Tot that has some functionality that would be cool to replicate in Bear at some point. Apple has stickeys and Apple Notes has quick notes. This is a pretty useful concept that I wish Bear had too because my main notes list gets cluttered and I have to go in there and clean it up. Maybe I just need to use a separate app for that stuff
