Bear Web has an issue with Thai language

Operation system: Windows 11

Web Browser: Chrome 143

Bug report

What were you doing: Type Thai language, then remove some characters.

What feature did you use: Writing has happened in every location where I am able to write.

What happened: When writing a word in Thai with upper or lower characters, such as “บางที”, I push backspace once to erase the ี character to “บางท,” but the bear web deletes the entire word to “บาง”.

For example, in the word “เห็นดู,” pressing 1 backspace in Bear Web results in “เห็น,” which deletes two characters, but I wish to erase only one character to “เห็นด”.

What did you expect to happen: delete only 1 character like bear on mac.

Feedback:

Interesting. Are you happy with cursor movements (pressing arrow left and right)? In any case, we will have a look at this and see what we can do.

I am pleased with the cursor movement; it is correct to press left and right to move only middle characters rather than upper or lower characters.

I ran further tests on Android with the Chrome browser, and they all had the same problem.

You can see proper Thai language behaviors in Google Docs or in Facebook’s status post or comment box or in bear community comment box.

We have deployed a fix for this issue. Reload and let me know if it works as expected.

Thank you very much, It’s work fine now.
