Can we do something about the way quotes look?

i don’t been a big fan of how quotes look in bear.

not sure what’s exactly the problem here but maybe visual distinction? maybe the brightly coloured blue line sticks out too much?

i could make the text italic, but that would be adding additional formatting which i might have to remove if i import the text somewhere else. and maybe the colour of the lines and the quotes itself could be less distracting?

I like the color bars as it makes it more distinct from the rest of the text. If I wanted a block of italicized text, I would just use italics.
