Cannot change icon on tag

  • OS Version: macOS Tahoe 26.0
  • What were you doing: Copying data into Bear
  • What feature did you use: Edit tag, tried to change tag icon
  • What happened: Nothing.
  • What did you expect to happen: Popup menu displayed, allowed me to change icon for the selected tag.

Note: This works as expected in iOS. The app did not freeze–I was able to close the edit tag dialog as expected.

Note: I have 7488 notes, and have recently upgraded to Tahoe 26.0. I do not know if the issue is because of the number of notes, or the upgrade in OS. I noticed this soon after I upgraded, but I was also copying data in.

Do you experience the same issue on Bear 2.6.1?

Well, that’s weird. I upgraded the app on my Mac through the App Store first off, and it went to 2.5.2. After I saw your note, I tried again, and it went to 2.6.1.

I also have auto-update turned on, so I had assumed that everything was updating–but I know now I need to keep an eye on these things. Dang.
