Can't Add X Emoji to Bear

  • OS Version: Sequoia 15.3.2 (24D81)
  • What were you doing: Dragging the X emoji to Bear. Copying and pasting the X emoji to Bear. Inside and outside of code blocks.
  • What feature did you use: Typing in Notes
  • What happened: The X would not show, but it worked in other apps like Sublime Text (on the right of the screen recording)
  • What did you expect to happen: The X to appear like in Sublime Text

Maybe try another font in Bear – the iAWriter fonts have problems with X emoji :wink:

What font have you selected for the text? If you change it does it work as expected?

@roar Good eye seeing the font I’m using. :smiley:

@trix180 It’s working if I’m not using iA Writer’s font. I submitted a bug report to them, and it’s in their queue based on priority.
