I’m not sure if this is a bug or a feature request because I’m not sure about the desired behavior. When a user clicks any empty area of the sidebar and a document is currently open, the document is closed and the Shortcuts are displayed. It is a minor inconvenience but this behavior is contrary to every other app with a sidebar I could find (including Finder). I would expect the current document to remain open if an empty area in the sidebar was clicked and only change the contents of the document pane if I actually clicked on another document.
BTW, I absolutely love this app. It’s how I always imagined Obsidian should work (but doesn’t).
