Clicking on a wikilink containing a slash creates a new note instead of navigating to the existing one

Operation system: Windows 11

Web Browser: Chrome Version 132.0.6834.160

Bug report

What were you doing: Navigating to a note using a wikilink

What feature did you use: Wikilink

What happened: A new note has been created in the current selected tag

What did you expect to happen: The linked note should open

Feedback:

A bug for sure. We are working on improving wikilinks to fix several bugs. Thanks for reporting.

I want to add a warning about Wikilinks for other users. Renaming a note does not update the Wikilinks, so avoid renaming notes from the web version unless you want to mess up your index notes. :slightly_smiling_face:

(Luckily, I had made a backup this morning)

This is great news. Wikilinks are my biggest pain point at the moment.

The experience on wikilinks navigation should now be greatly improved. As usual, let us know what issues you are still experiencing.

It appears the original issue with linking to a header with the “/” is still not working. Was that supposed to have been fixed or still working on it? Thanks.
