Links break when they're included in a note's title after rename

  • What were you doing: Renamed a note that was linked-to in other notes’ titles
  • What feature did you use: Renaming note, backlinks, wiki-links
  • What happened: The links break. IE the renamed note doesn’t show the notes that linked to it in the title
  • What did you expect to happen: The linking-from notes title change to reflect the linked-to note renaming and the links are kept.

I have a linked-to note like bellow:

# CPC_489
Bla bla bla

I have several linking-from notes named like this. They show up as backlinks in the linked-to note info panel

# [[CPC_489]]_01
Bla Bla

# [[CPC_490]]_02
Bla Bla

I rename linked-to note:

# CPC-489
Bla bla bla

All linking-from notes remain as before. Their titles dont change and all links are now broken.

I expected them to be renamed like bellow, and the links to be kept.

Bla Bla

[[CPC-490]]_02
Bla Bla

Thanks for reporting this issue.
Wiki links inside the title are problematic and can cause an infinite loop on note renaming, so I’m not sure we can provide a solution to this bug at the moment.
