One action to collapse all tags in tag tree. Behave like VSCode’s “Collapse Folders in Explorer”.

Background

Sometimes I need to reorganize my tag tree. In order to sort it out more clearly, I often need to manually collapse the tags one by one.

Absolutely must. I really don’t understand, why it’s not already available with some kind of Option + Click

Dear Bear team,

Thank you for your fantastic app — I truly enjoy using it for my daily notes and writing.

I’d like to suggest a small but helpful feature: the ability to collapse or expand all tags in the sidebar with a single click or shortcut. This would make navigating large tag hierarchies much easier and help keep the sidebar clean and organized.

This is standard behavior on macOS. Option clicking expands/collapses recursively in DEVONthink, Scrivener, Finder, Mail.

In apps where the sidebar is keyboard navigable, option + left or right is the equivalent shortcut
