Delete newline on Cmd+Backpace

Hello,

I would like it if Cmd+Backspace on an empty line, deleted the newline and moved the cursor to the end of the previous line.

Reason: I would like to hold Cmd and press Backspace multiple times to quickly delete several lines, without ever having to release the Cmd key. This is not possible with Bear since Cmd+Backspace on an empty line does nothing.

Have you seen the behavior in another text editor? I’d like to try it if possible.

This is VSCode, I’m just holding cmd down and pressing backspace multiple times

CotEdit and Obsidian allow that. Other editors like Craft or Ulysses do not
