Feature Request: Back Button

Not sure how easy this would be to implement or how useful other users will find it but, for me, it would be great to have a simple back button (like internet browsers) so I can go back to the previous note.

I often find myself looking up notes I made several days/weeks/months ago to remind me of a specific structure, then wanting to apply that to a new note. It would be nice to be able to start a new note, look up an old note then click ‘Back’ to go back to my new note and continue where I left off.

Great suggestion! This would be really helpful!

On the mac you can use ⌘+] and ⌘+[ to move between notes and I think the gestures on iOS is not implemented yet.

I would love to have that as a visible button in the UI. The Shortcut works, but a visual clue would be nice

I’m hoping this is what they mean by

  • History navigation buttons

in this post under “What’s Missing”. I would think it would be in the final version then.
