Hide strikethrough text

I’ve recently started to use it for composing text. Just hit on me how cool it would be if one could hide strikethrough text. I can read over it but to really feel the flow of the text I need to delete it and then undo for instance. Which isn’t a nice workflow if you have several noncontinuous pieces that are struckthrough. Just a thought.

Thanks ,

Coen

I don’t like it. I’m using strikethrough especially to see what avenues of thinking I’ve explored and excluded. I want to be able to see the text, to avoid going down the same route again.

You probably want more something like a comment or revision syntax, like Ulysses does, with a specific Markdown set of characters. That’s a different use case.

Oh I’m not suggesting it should be on by default, just the option to hide strikethrough text.

I’m open for any other suggestion to optionally hide text. i’m not familiar with ulysses but I’ll check it out.

Sort of like ‘collapse all’ but for strikethrough text, ‘hide strikethrough text’

I can appreciate the use case, I might even find a use for it
