What were you doing:
I was testing the import from DayOne feature. I tried on iPad and on Mac. iPad has the option to import from DayOne and Mac does not, at the moment.

What feature did you use:
Importing a JSON export from DayOne

What happened:
On iPad, I went to settings → import & export → import from and selected DayOne and then ‘start import’ and selected the DayOne zip. Importing began, but immediately a “error imported notes; unknown error happened” popped up.

What did you expect to happen:
I expected the DayOne entries to be imported into Bear 2.

Sorry the confusion but the DayOne importer will be removed from the iPadOS/iOS version too. Eventually will be rewritten to work with the new editor.

Or @Matteo - Anything you can disclose about timing of bringing back the Day One importer?

We’ll try to have it working for the end of January next year.

That would be awesome. How do you think the geolocation info would translate in Bear?
