Several times I’ve tried to do relatively simple things with Apple Shortcuts and the Bear Shortcut Actions, and every time I’ve just wasted half a day and got extremely annoyed. Shortcuts seems to work by some kind of Voodoo, and it doesn’t give good errors. I’m just annoyed I’ve spent so much time on it without any results. This isn’t a criticism of Bear as such, I’m just venting about stupid Shortcuts.

It would be awesome if Shortcuts had a debugger where you could step through.

I can relate from a non-developer standpoint. I don’t have any coding capabilities, and I feel like that’s what it takes to actually make any actual functional shortcuts. I’ve given up trying to make them.
