Link color based on page existence

I’d love to have a feature that changes the color of a link (inter-bear link) based on whether the page exists or not - in Obsidian I used this as a way to further fill out information in my notes.

I don’t care if it is a different colour that indicates if a note exists. It could be the same colour in a paler tone or whatever solution the devs would come up. I am wondering why such a feature that is likely easy to implement in a technical sense and at same time offers a high value is denied or delayed. I can imagine that ui-wise it must be well thought out. But a different color should actually do it.

Addendum:

When I wrote that the technical implementation would probably be simple, I assumed that bear already knows whether the link refers to an existing note or not. But this check would have to be implemented additionally. Please don’t take it amiss if a user who has no idea about programming comes along with such hasty judgments

Count me as a plus one
