I apologize if this has been posted already. I did a quick skim and didn’t see it mentioned.
In the settings, can we adjust the number of spaces for a “tab”/indentation for bullet points lists and numbered lists? And either have an option for each, or my preferred is keep both consistent. Each person has their own preferences so it would be great to have this option.
I’ve been using 4 spaces for tabs for the longest time. I’ve using Lettera to edit a markdown note for the past few weeks and love the experience (aside from the wishing there is at least an optional basic “vim” mode). This note I previously started in Obsidian. Right now, I tested opening this note is a generic text editor (vim, BBEdit, CotEditor) and found all the new bullet points lists was created using 2 spaces and numbered lists created with 3 spaces first. It leads to inconsistency in indentation when using a plain text editor.
I read the general markdown topic from one of the thread here. I understand wanting to keep bullet point lists aligned wit the bullet, and wanting to keep numbered lists aligned…but if I use a mix of these with the current settings, I end up with 2 different alignments when I open the markdown in a plain text editor.
I do love the app and will keep an eye out to see if this setting is added.
