I like having lots of space between my paragraphs, but I don’t like big spaces between my bullets in a list. So maybe a preference setting where the paragraph spacing doesn’t apply to bullets. Except maybe the last in a list?

+1, this would be very useful for those who don’t manually add extra newlines around paragraphs and headings.
Thinking of this further, a similar setting for headings may also be useful.
