When selecting a group of notes and using the note merge option, what determines the order of the notes in the transferred note? Is there a way to select the order manually when doing the merge?

I’m disappointed that Bear never responded to this. It’s an important feature with a huge flaw if there’s no way to order merged pages. I searched “merge” on the Bear support page and got zero relevant results.
If I’m not missing some scenario notes are merged in the same order (top to bottom) they are displayed in the note list at the moment the merging function is used.
The question was, whether it might not be possible to manage the order of merged notes manually. That in turn leads me to ask whether the notes list could generally offer an additional manual sorting option, in addition to title, creation date and modification date. This would cover the request above without requiring any changes to the merge function itself. But manual sorting is also useful for other reasons.
I know this would be far from a trivial feature. But it would be perfectly fine if the manual sorting isn’t synchronized and each device operates independently with regard to manual sorting.
Manual sorting is indeed problematic on a design and implementation level, and we don’t have plans for it at the moment.
