What were you doing: pasting png files into MD file within app
-
What feature did you use: pasting image into file within editor
-
What happened: paste worked fine for 1 image but when pasting 2nd image, it used the same file name (“image.png”) and overlaid the first file. The view within the editor showed both images until I exported to a PDF then the two file entries pointed to the same file since there is only 1 physical png file instead of the 2 I pasted.
(image.png). - removed MD tag as it won’t display here or I don’t know how to do it
(image.png) -
What did you expect to happen: That both pasted images would have created a corresponding file in the same folder as the MD file. It overlaid the second file so only one file exists.
I was able to save each page to disk and insert via the style bar and that works. Exporting to PDF and ePub doesn’t appear to hold the width of the images though and instead of having the images fit side-by-side they are larger and on separate lines. HTML export works fine as expected.
Are you going to have a menu item that allows to insert a photo in addition to the style bar?
