After iOS 27 install on iPhone predictive text does not insert word

  • What were you doing: Typing with predictive text in note
  • What feature did you use: editor
  • What happened: After updating to iOS 27 on iPhone 16 Pro Max, tapping on suggested word in predictive text bar above keyboard does not insert word into note.
  • What did you expect to happen: Expected to tap on word and have it inserted into note.

Hello,

We are aware of this problem, and we’ll provide a fix as soon as possible.
Based on our tests, the predictive text can’t be selected when the keyboard is showing.
