Archiving all notes of a specific tag does not work

  • OS Version: macOS 15.6.1
  • What were you doing: Viewing all notes of a particular tag.
  • What feature did you use: From the tag’s dropdown in the ‘Notes’ pane, select ‘Archive’
  • What happened: I’m taken to the ‘Archive’ tag in the Tag pane, but no notes of the tage are actually archived. It doesn’t matter if I have no notes selected or all notes selected. The same behavior is seen.
  • What did you expect to happen: I expected all notes with the particular tag to be archived.

You have misunderstood the function. The entries in the menu are only there to take you to the location. To archive the notes in the list, select them and choose the archive command from the context menu.

Ahh. It appears I have indeed misunderstood. Thank you for setting the record straight!
I’ve used Bear almost daily for 2+ years and have never really used this menu.

So perhaps I need to adapt this to instead be a feature request? I’d like to be able to select a tag from the Tag pane and archive all notes with that tag in the same context menu as where you can pin, edit, and delete a tag.
