- Bear Version:Version 2.6.6 (13972)
- OS Version:Tahoe 26.0.1
- What were you doing: Nothing
- What feature did you use:
- What happened:Bear shuts down at night when I leave my iMac running
- What did you expect to happen:
Is a crash report being generated when you find Bear shut down?
No, it’s just not running in the morning (I leave my iMac running 24x7) and I have to restart it. This doesn’t happen all the time, but at the moment most of the time.
Any chance you have some apps like Quitter installed, forcing Bear to close?
If you don’t see any report, it means Bear is not crashing and it’s the only way it can close by itself.
No, nothing like that. It’s not a big deal, I just wondered if I had misconfigured Bear. I’ll track it more carefully and see what I can come up with. Thanks for the response!
This has been happening for me as well lately. Found this post via Google. I notice Mail.app has also closed, but only those 2 apps and no others. I suspect it might be available storage space related, but am not certain.
