What did you expect to happen: Insert current date (medium format)
Bear 2’s date format for ⇧ ⌘ 8 is long format, not medium like Bear 1. All other options are the same between both versions. For example:

⇧ ⌘ 9 → 10/23/22
⇧ ⌘ 0 → 12:07
