Dear Developers,
I noticed that a “Save Changes” dialog only appears when I try to close the app. However, while using the app, all my notes seem to be saved automatically.
Because of this, I’m not quite sure what the purpose of this prompt is. If changes are already being auto-saved, asking whether I want to save them again when closing the app feels a little confusing and unnecessary.

What you’re seeing is the standard macOS way of handling documents, and Lettera follows it. The distinction is between documents that already live somewhere on disk and documents that don’t.
When a document has a file of its own, everything is saved automatically as you type and you’ll never be asked anything. When you create a new document that you haven’t saved yet, it’s still autosaved, but only to a temporary location, it doesn’t have a home yet. So when you close it, macOS has to ask: do you want to keep this somewhere, or throw it away? There’s no third option, since the temporary copy isn’t meant to stick around.
So the prompt isn’t asking you to save something twice, it’s asking where a brand new document should live

I have just wanted to mention that is not a new document, it is an actual md document.
The difference is only closing the app instead of passing to another page.
If i pass another page nor problem autosaving, if i close the app than asking this.
If it is an actual way, than it is ok if not, i just wanted let you know.
