Dropping a note into a Things to-do

When I do this, Things gets a link to a file on disk. When I click the link, it opens Finder, and then when that file is opened, it creates a new duplicate copy of the note.

I expected that dropping a note would just link to it in Bear, basically the same behavior as if I copied the notes identifier and then pasted that into the Things todo. Any reason for the current behavior?

Hello, when you drop a note outside Bear, we provide different representations of it in the Clipboard (for example, notes identifiers). However, the receiving app decides which representation to use. If you want a different default for Things, please contact their team.
