ENTER after an empty list doesn't delete anymore the bullet

  • What were you doing: I clicked after a list item two times enter

  • What feature did you use: Lists

  • What happened: Rather than leaving the list it was continued with empty list items

  • What did you expect to happen: Leaving the list

Is this happening under some special condition or in a particular note?

It looks like there’s an invisible character after the |, possibly a non-breaking space. Could you check if that’s the case?

I don’t have the note anymore to check. I created it for the purpose of demonstration after making the experience in another note.

Today I am not able anymore to reproduce the shown behaviour in newly created notes. However I still have one note where it continues to happen. Would it help to export the note to a md file and to send it to you? I don’t know at all how to check if there is a non breaking space

Edit:

I opened the file in Cot editor. All curved arrows from paragraph breaks appear in grey colour apart from the arrow in the list item: it has a red colour. So your guess may be correct.
