Bug report

What were you doing:
Editing a table cell that is wider than what is displayed in the web version
What feature did you use:
I created a table in the Mac app that has two columns. One column is wider than what can be displayed on the web. When you try to add text to the cell, the text gets added, but one cannot see the beginning of the line (on the far left side of the cell) as the web version displays the far right part of the cell.
What happened:
See above.
What did you expect to happen:
The “best” solution might be to allow for a wider display of text on the web version. Right now, the web version displays text in a rather narrow space. Please allow for wider text on the web; this would then “fix” the issue above as well.

Feedback:

The maximum width is made to match that of the Mac Bear app. But you are right that the table aren’t correctly scrolling to where you are typing. Thanks for reporting.

I am not sure I understand your comment regarding the note width on the web version vs. the note width on the Mac version. I set my preferences on the Mac version to allow for more text. That is not reflected in the web version. The screenshot below shows how many letters I can have on the web vs Mac. I first created the note on the web and then opened it up on the Mac. You can see that on the Mac version, I can display many more letters on a given row. It would be great if the web version allows for wider text entry.

Thank you,
Frank

Settings like note width are not synced across devices, and we don’t have settings in the web app for the moment. On the web it will be the same width for all, same as the default on Mac. We could add settings to the web a bit further down the line.
