When opening the sidebar, it would be slicker and more useful if the window extended out to the left, much like the app Soulver 2 does.
The current behavior in Bear is that the note text sort of refreshes and the note area gets squished, often changing the flow of the text. It’s slightly disorienting, and I regularly find myself having to manually resize the window to keep the note area wide enough, or not too wide.
Every time I want to focus in on a note, I turn from three-pane view to the one-pane view and end up with a giant window that is way bigger than the size I had set for my note in the first place.
